A Primer on Cosmetic and Regenerative Gynecology

The South Asian Federation of Obstetrics & Gynecology started their year off with an introduction to Cosmetic and Regenerative Gynecology. India, Srilanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh were well represented with over 200 delegates learning about this new “Super Specialty.” Representatives from the UK, UAE, Afghanistan, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan were also in attendance. After the kind and generous introductions of the key players from the represented countries I was given a little more than an hour to give an oration on the history of the field, radiofrequency and energy based treatments, PRP, Amniotic Fluid, O-Shot, ln-Office labia minoraplasty, labia majoraplasty, and vaginoplasty. I presented this talk at the ACOG Armed Forces District meeting in San Diego and Grand Rounds at Loma Linda University in 2022. Enjoy this introduction to the specialty. Dr. Malhotra introduced all the leaders from each country.

On to energy + biologics and the various treatments.

I demonstrated treatments for Lichen Sclerosis using radiofrequency, PRP, PPP, and Amniotic Fluid injections on a live patient.

Histologic cross sections of were shown.

I demonstrated a labia minoraplasthy and labia majoraplasty to the audience using radiosurgical tools and linear excision techniques.

A full-depth Awake In-Office No-IV vaginoplasty with perineoplasty was also shown in 4K quality and full narration.
